Obsessive Films
Another weekend/summer with nothing to do! Never fear; the LL's have a solution. Sick of all those books (makes my heart ache to type those words). Well, here's the answer. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy a good movie.
WHAT!?!?!? You don't know what to watch. Well that's were we come in. Here are a few movies that we have seen and positively adore to get you started! Enjoy!
Title: Harry Potter Series
Status: 5 so far (2 more soon to be released)
Genre: Fantasy, Adventure
Rated: PG, PG-13
Emili's Comment: THEY SUCK!!! Just kidding, wait.......... yeah they do. When I go see the sixth movie I'm planning on throwing popcorn at the screen in anger. Who's with me!
Amy's Comment: HECK YEAH EMILI!! YOU & ME WILL GO TO THE MOVIES AND THROW POPCORN AT DANIEL RADCLIFFE BECAUSE HE IS SO FLIPPING UGLY!! (And then we will professionally hand out our Lightning Loser business cards... LOL.)
Anna's Comment: Haha, I must agree with the two lovely women's comments above, the totally hit the nail on the head...haha
Title: Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Status: movie and of broadway show!
Genre: Horror
Rated: R
Emili's Comment: By far, the best movie I have seen in a while. Outstanding cast. Johnny is amazing, and Helena is hilarious. The Soundtrack is awesome. Anthony is adorable, and can SING!!!! *Fan-girl scream* *faints* *twitch twitch twitch* *wipes drool of keyboard* hehe
Anna's Comment: I totally loved that movie. Johnny Depp is an amazing actor and AMAZINGLY hot for a 40 year old man. I hated the ending but that's ok, the movie over all was amazing.
Title: Dude, Where's My Car?
Status: just a regular movie
Genre: comedy, stupid humor, Ashton Kutcher, slapstick comedy (NOTE: some scenes are not appropriate for children.)
Rated: PG-13
Amy's Comment: COOLEST MOVIE EVER!! It's a really stupid movie, but I absolutely love it. It's about these guys who go to a party one night and can't remember what they did, and they wake up and can't find their car. Which is bad, because their girlfriends' anniversary gifts are in there. So they ask around, and find out that they must find the Continuum Transfunctioner, whose mystery is only exceeded by its power. But... two groups of people claim to be the protectors of it! Will the guys choose the alien women or the Canadian guys??!?!?! (Well, I'M not gonna tell you!!)
Title: Twilight
Status: still in the filming process
Genre: Romance, Partial Fantasy
Rated: PG-13
Emili's Comment: I can't really say much because I haven't seen it yet. But when I do you will problobly be getting a lecture on how AWESOME the movie was!!! In the mean time my mom wants so send me to theropy because I can't quit talking about the movie and Breaking Dawn's release. She thinks I'm obsessed so I just smile and say "Thank You." PS. Click on the title. It's a link to the offical movie website!!!!!
Amy's Comment: OMG! EMILI I AM TOTALLY WITH YOU!!! This movie is going to be flipping gorgeous, to say the least. I mean, you've got Jackson Rathbone, Robert Pattinson, Kellan Lutz, AND Peter Facinelli in the same movie. I mean, it's gonna be like Pirates of the Caribbean - Vampire Style!!! Not to mention how wonderful the plot is, anyway. I feel sorry for whoever goes to the movies with me that day... whenever one of the Cullens/Hales comes onto the screen, I'm going to be slapping their arm, being all like, "OHMYGODTHERE'SAVAMPIREONTHESCREEN!!!! OHMYGODLOOKATHIM!!!!!" (Note to my LLs: y'all know I'm a righty, so it'll be the person on my right side that gets hit. If you want to sit next to me, I suggest wearing a shoulder guard. LOL. I apologize in advance.)
Anna's Comment: CANT WAIT FOR IT
Title: Pirates of the Caribbean
Status: 3 movies so far (hopefully more coming out!)
Genre: Action
Rated: PG-13
Amy's Comment: Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. Together. 'Nuff said.
Emili's Comment: Amy pretty much said it all.
